How risky is not taking risks?

There are two ways of leading our life. One way is to assume everything will be perfect and try to be what you want to be, be what you can be. The other way is to consider the worst case scenario and take maximum caution in not being adventurous. Make maximum effort in securing what you have and make sure things work out no matter what.

Being cautious and not taking any risk will for sure make life secure and make sure you have a future, but you will loose out on all the good things you could have had and you could have lived life to the full. On the other hand assuming everything will be perfect may throw up some surprises once in a while and dampen your growth a bit, but you would have lived life to the full.
