Insecurity

The feeling of insecurity arises from the fear of loosing something very important. In such a situation you desperately try to hold on to what is so dear to you or which makes you feel secure. You even start suspecting the very thing about which you feel insecure.

It may also arise from the fact that you are trying to hide something which you feel is not correct and don’t want others to know about it. You always stay in the fear that the whole world is observing you and you will be caught. This makes you angry with people who even though may not be actually knowing about it but you get specious that they know it and are keeping an eye on you. You try to get away from them.

It may also arise from the situation around you when you feel you are running out of options. This is a most frustrating situation where in you don’t have much control on what’s happening around you or with you. You turn hostile to others and even to your self. Not realizing you are damaging your self and others in the process. The matter becomes worse as the time passes by.

In any of the scenarios you get more and more self-centered, self-conscious and selfish. You become insensitive to other's feelings. Don’t realize when people around you who care about you and are concerned about you get hurt because of you. The more the people get concerned the more suspicious you get about them. When you reach such a condition you can’t get out of it.

You try to be alone all the time, which only increases the feeling of insecurity. You become over possessive about the things which you feel are helping you out. But soon you become so insecure about the same thing when you don’t find the same kind of response from the other side. You start looking for other things or some one else who can keep you happy. In the process you try to get away from the things which were actually trying to help you out.
