Happy New Year 07

This time the new year was different. I was travelling in a train when the year changed from 2006 to 2007. I was on my way to Pune. I landed in Pune exactly at 12:00 AM. It was a delight watching the landscape of Pune full of fire crackers lightning up the skylines... As i was watching i had already broken my new year resolution. I had decided i would not think about her starting this year, yet i was sub consciously trying the find her in the thickly populated, brightly light new year night. Knowing that she is out there somewhere, with someone, probably enjoying a party, cheering friends around, greeting everyone, raising a toast, Hugging the close ones...

...and as my plane was taking off from Pune airport, i was watching the Pune landscape becomming smaller and smaller...i felt as if i was going away for ever...unknowingly i said her goodbye...

The only other resolution left out is to reclaim my life, hope i will be able to achieve that in this year...

After planning for a long long time, finally decided to go to Coorg and Wayanad for our first marriage anniversary. Searching through the travel logs and travel blogs gave us some idea of what was there in store for us. After having a quick breakfast at the new Kamat uphar headed towards Srirangapatna. Took the Mysore bypass towards Hunsur. Drove from Virajpet to Gonikoppal to kakabbe. It is in such a beautiful surroundings that once you reach the resort, it takes away all the strain of the travel. They have only 12 cottages and not much of crowd. Love Letters - Play performed by Rajit Kapur

I went to the Rangashankara to watch Rahul Da Cunha's version of ‘Love Letters’ . The Pulitzer award winning play written by AR Gurney, describes the romantic and poignant relationship between childhood friends Melissa Gardner (Shernaz Patel) and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (Rajit Kapur) over fifty years. The story unfolds through the letters the two characters have written to one another. The play was first performed in 1988. Shernaz Patel is just so amazing in the way she brings the impetuous Melissa. Even at this age she has so much of charm, its a treat to watch her on stage. Her role of the child's mother in BLACK was excellent. Rajit Kapur is a versatile actor who has no boundaries and leaves me spellbound always. Watch out for some bold dialogs which are a signature of all Rajit Kapur plays.
