Friendship Day !!!

Well friendship day was here. Its a good time to make new friends and wish them on this day. Its a much better time to sit back and retrospect about how many friends have we retained in the past year and how many friends have we lost because of our so called busy schedules. There are friends who would not have replied, yet there are many more to whom we have not replied for a long time. It hurts when someone who was once so close stops responding, hurts even more when you hear from them, but just you are one of the CC'ed or BCC'ed list. Yet we fail to realize that there might be others who might be just waiting to hear from you too. I guess we can retaining friends not by waiting for someone who is not responding to us, but in responding to someone who is waiting for us.

After planning for a long long time, finally decided to go to Coorg and Wayanad for our first marriage anniversary. Searching through the travel logs and travel blogs gave us some idea of what was there in store for us. Love Letters - Play performed by Rajit Kapur

I went to the Rangashankara to watch Rahul Da Cunha's version of ‘Love Letters’ . The Pulitzer award winning play written by AR Gurney, describes the romantic and poignant relationship between childhood friends Melissa Gardner (Shernaz Patel) and Andrew Makepeace Ladd III (Rajit Kapur) over fifty years. The story unfolds through the letters the two characters have written to one another. The play was first performed in 1988. Shernaz Patel is just so amazing in the way she brings the impetuous Melissa. Even at this age she has so much of charm, its a treat to watch her on stage. Her role of the child's mother in BLACK was excellent. Rajit Kapur is a versatile actor who has no boundaries and leaves me spellbound always. Watch out for some bold dialogs which are a signature of all Rajit Kapur plays.
